My Story
Hi, my name is Mia and I'm passionate about the esoteric and spiritual.
My mission is to help you tap into Divine creative energy, and the healing spiritual universe
I believe in the power of positive energy and our ability to elevate our vibration, so that we can elevate the vibration of the world.
When we feel truly connected, we feel connected to all living and filled up with love, and life becomes a living pulsing miracle.I see myself as a spiritual explorer and will guide you into an enchanted world of an alive universe. Shimmering Stories comes from that we all carry these shimmering moments within where we feel connected and alive, part of a grander mystery. This is where healing and wholeness happens and where we become one with a higher love.
I have as long as I can remember had a calling to explore the truth and the spiritual. Since I was a little girl, I was able to sense more than what meets the eye and been highly sensitive and open. When I grew up I didn't really have any spirituality around me, but felt a longing for something "more". I grew up with everything material that one could wish for but often felt it was superficial and flat, and early in life I felt that the material just wasn't enough. I felt a conviction that it wasn't the key to happiness and true love, but that there was another layer of existence that I was missing out on, that wasn't taught in school. So, I set out to find love and happiness, and how to create that within myself and others.

My spiritual path started out with Tibetan Buddhism and travels to India, Nepal and Tibet. I see this tradition as my foundation with emphasis on compassion, oneness, impermanence, and the ability to work with energy. The Goddess White Tara is my protective diety and her vibration of unconditional love is my daily prayer. I started out my professional life with graphic design and studying history of art, and I was intrigued by abstract artists like Rothko, Kandinsky, Malevitj and Hilma af Klint and the mystic and spritual path of art. In my late twenties I thought I should become a nun and was very passionate about my Dharma studies.
But after spending some time at a monastery, I was sitting with my lovely Australian friend Sally, also an art historian, down in Kathmandu having a lovely Italian dinner, I had this feeling that maybe in this life time I was supposed to find the Divine in the midst of life, in the midst of beauty, in art, in relationships, in the midst of the wild dance of samsara. It was like I fell back in Love with the Beauty of life. I believe this experience, the falling back in love with life led me to tantra, and connecting with body, the earth, the universe, how to find the spiritual and divine within life?

I lived 5 years in Bali mainly focused on tantric goddesses and sacred feminine, letting life and nature be my guru. It opened me to the essence of experiental tantra and working with the kundalini and sacred sexuality.
In Bali I assisted several Sacred Feminine retreats and has also co-created retreats in Greece and in Sweden since 2016.
